I love silicone based primers, they are good with matte foundation and I like matte primers, I do like the smooth canvas to with with, gripping primers are the worse, hydration ones just make a mess with my oily face and makeup. I can even just use silicone based with powder foundation when I am in the hurry. I get less pimples and acne with primers, it just makes my skin better…protect my skin. My pores are not big, but my skin is oily…that is how my acne starts…small pores and oily skin easily clogged. Silicone based, matte primers helps with that, it is like a barrier.
